Chavez II es la secuela donde adaptaron el juego Boxing Legends of the Ring para el mercado mexicano poniendo a Julio César Chávez en la portada.

Lo malo es que fuera de Chávez, los boxeadores son genéricos y esto los hace poco atractivos a la hora de elegir a tu peleador. En cambio, en el juego original, se tenía la licencia de peleadores como Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard y Marvin Hagler.
