Super Soccer fue desarrollado por Human Entertainment famosos por hacer los juegos de lucha libre Fire Pro Wrestling y la serie de terror Clock Tower.

Es un juego que aprovecha el modo 7, el cual permitía manejar planos 2D en tres dimensiones y dar profundidad, como en F-Zero y Mario Kart. La cámara ve la cancha de manera vertical, gracias al modo 7 te deja ver mucho de lo que está pasando al fondo del campo.
