Cheat Engine is a free and open source memory scanner with an integrated debugger for the Windows operating system. Cheat Engine is used for cheating in computer games and has many tools such as ultimap, dissect windows PE headers, struct dissector, static address finder, and more. Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first person shooter video game published by Activision. It was released worldwide in November 2010 for Microsoft Windows.
To access the struct dissector, open cheat engine and select memory view - tools - dissect data structures and add a new structure. This tool is a limited alternative to ReClass that is built into cheat engine.
In this cheat engine tutorial, you will learn how to hack games with cheat engine struct dissector. When reverse engineering first person shooters, it is often helpful to use struct dissectors to break down player or game objects. This can be used to find player coordinates, reverse engineer call of duty player objects, or dissect a c++ weapon or ammo structure.
We start by finding our weapon ammo static address and then dissect the data structure by finding a new structure. Reverse engineering with struct dissector, we quickly find second weapon ammo and third weapon ammo. We then use cheat engine to freeze ammo value to cheat black ops and get unlimited ammo. We get unlimited black ops noob tube ammo and unlimited black ops grenades with a quick struct dissect. This same method can be used for first person shooter rapid fire or to find number of kills.
