Checking Out Call of Duty Vanguard's New Multiplayer Gameplay Reveal & Weapons (CoD Vanguard Beta)
CoD Vanguard - 10 Minutes of Pure Multiplayer PC Gameplay: (Warzone) GameStar editor Phil Elsner tried out the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty Vanguard before release as part of a press event and recorded scenes from different modes and maps. Here he presents the raw game scenes without comment.
The video shows several classic variants such as Team Deathmatch or Kill Confirmed as well as the new patrol mode, in which a target area moves on a fixed route across the map. To score, a team must capture and hold the mobile zone.
The scenes also show different numbers of players, which can range from 12 to 48 players per match via the new combat pacing options. This allows players to decide for themselves how full it should be on a server and how hectic the battles will be.

Call of Duty Vanguard shows 9 minutes of gameplay from the campaign
The new gameplay trailer from gamescom 2021 shows for the first time several minutes of coherent gameplay from CoD Vanguard. You can see a mission with Polina Petrova, a Russian fighter who is fighting the German invaders in Stalingrad. According to the developers, it is loosely based on the real-life Lyudmila Pavlichenko, who made history as the most successful female sniper in the world with 309 kills.
Polina is one of the four characters in Vanguard, who together form one of the first Special Forces units and are supposed to stop a secret Nazi project in Berlin. In addition to Stalingrad, North Africa, the Pacific and Normandy will also be locations in the story (and in multiplayer).
The scenes demonstrate some of the great strengths of the revised IW engine that we know from Modern Warfare: particle effects, smoke, sparks, fire and light are very atmospheric.
There is also a first foretaste of the new destructible level elements that are used in both the campaign and multiplayer: doors, windows, wooden beams and other things are broken by fire.
