Crazy Alchemist (VR in this video) is a fun alchemist workshop management game.

**VR disclaimer- This 2D video in no way captures the magic of the 3D VR experience and the performance issues seen in the video don't exist in the VR Goggles as this is a secondary image of the game shown on the PC screen.**

It has both a VR mode and a normal mode but the VR mode, which I played, is particularly great. You spawn in your workshop where there is a stout little orc walking around trying to occupy himself. If you walk up and tap him on the head he stops and scratches it which I thought was funny. The atmosphere is fantastic, there is even a mail owl bringing your mail.

The game play is like a management game. You start with a small amount of money and begin buying alchemic components to craft items for quests which you are paid for. There are various traders who you can buy and sell from and an array of quests including story and daily quests. The quests are the creation of items for people and usually unlock new spells. There is also a person that you can use to upgrade your equipment if you complete their quests. I encountered three different locations including my alchemy workshop. The other two were a library where the official supplier resides and a tavern where shadier suppliers lurk.

It is in early access so I did experience a few bugs. The first time I tried to leave the workshop and go to the library so the loading screen popped up and just sat there forever. I had to reload it but it never happened again. Also I made a compass for a guy and was trying to figure out how to deliver it to him, so I was holding it when I left the workshop to go to the library and it just vanished! It turns out all items need to be deposited in your workshops chest and you can't leave the workshop with them. But disappearing was a bit rich, I thought it would just be on the ground when I got back at worst. Anyway earning money isn't that hard especially with the daily quests so I just did some trading, bought some more supplies and made another. So as I said it is in early access and there might be a few quirks and changes but it is pretty highly polished and well playable as it is.

So it really is great fun with an almost magical atmosphere in your alchemy workshop, especially if you like fantasy, witches, etc. But the real deal closer on this product is the price, it's only $10. For the quality of the product it's really good and I am very pleased to recommend the title. So watch my video to see the VR game play then head over to the following link where you can find it on Steam....
