Voronium - Locust Sols is a VR turret defence game that has just moved into early access.

VR disclaimer- This 2D video in no way captures the magic of the 3D VR experience and the performance issues seen in the video don't exist in the VR Goggles as this is a secondary image of the game shown on the PC screen.

Currently it only has 6 early access levels and four turrets including the mountable one but more levels are coming and I have already seen the models for upcoming turrets so development is well in motion.

The quality of the product so far is fantastic. It has great graphics and a terrific story line and the game play is great, a mixture of static FPS and tower defence.

I completed the current 6 levels in one hour and 40 minutes on my second play through and it's great fun and I can't wait for more. Most of the levels are quite hard so don't be surprised if you don't complete some on the first try. You learn the movements of the enemy and learn the best places to build turrets.
It's a great FPS action game thanks to the mountable turret. It's the cheapest to build and packs quite a wallop but only works when you saddle up and manually fire the guns yourself which is where the game really takes life. With the correct placement you can see across to other paths and make a real impact on the enemy.

The final aspect of this game that I am happy with is the price, it's only $15! For the quality of what's being offered it's a steal. Basically this is one not to miss, so take a look at my video to see what it's like then head over to the following link where it is available on Steam...
