Check'n Sanguo Warriors VR
1Sanguo Warriors VR is a great little title for a fun time and a light cardio-vascular workout.
Gameplay begins at 6:40 for those who don't care about the menu.
VR disclaimer- This 2D video in no way captures the magic of the 3D VR experience and the performance issues seen in the video don't exist in the VR Goggles as this is a secondary image of the game shown on the PC screen.
It has high quality aesthetics and fun gameplay. The movement system was my favourite, you have the normal arc where you jump to the end for fast movement but you can also use the touch pad to glide around the battle field. I found it so much fun that I only used the arc system two or three times in the video. It is needed further in with bosses though. But the best part of this game has to be the primitive hand to hand combat. Hoisting your shield as an enemy runs towards you, you find yourself crouching in reality to hide behind it as you ready your sword. It's a great heart pumping, blood curdling time. The only issue I discovered was the collision detection with the barrel bombs, if you accidentally tap them with your sword when picking things up while not in combat they explode.
So given how good the game is the asking price of $12 is fantastic, I definitely recommend this title. Check out my gameplay video then head over to the following link where the game is available on Steam...
