Check'n 8-Bit Armies
18-Bit Armies is a great RTS title from Petroglyph
If you remember the Command & Conquer titles, every bodies favourite games from the days, well this is a fresh new pixel art game with similar game play. It has a great single player mode, which too many games are lacking these days, plus co-op campaign which is a great touch. It also has your full multiplayer mode where you can destroy each other! There is also a Multiverse mode which I didn't get time to try but looks like it's possibly a larger tactical multiplayer mode.
The game is clearly high quality and very well made. There is no glitching, good voice acting and graphics, and most importantly it's engrossing and fun to play. It has been on Steam for a while now but it's also about to be released on the X-Box and PlayStation so if you haven't checked it out yet it's a great time.
I played a few of the single player campaign missions in the video. Firstly I played it on easy then I tried the next on normal. Units were still unlocking like most early campaign missions but you can still get a clear look at the game mechanics. I really enjoyed my time playing it and that's why I'm happy to push the title.
