In this video I take a look at Red Horizon,* a space wave shooter.

I love this game! It doesn't have a hell of a lot in the way of content but at $1 it's a great little time waster that requires skill to play and will have you saying "I can do better" as you click the start button again and again. Its trick is you can’t strafe, so to dodge you need to fly forward or backwards while turning. It takes some skill to get used to but really makes for a fun challenge. As you progress through waves you can pick up perks to improve your ship but you only have one life so once you run out of hearts it's game over.

ABOUT THIS GAME
Red Horizon is an addictive, wave based, space shoot 'em up game. Heavily influenced by the classics of the past, Red Horizon takes a modern spin on the genre combining it with some subtle Rogue-like elements to provide players with a unique experience every time they play.

Hop on board the Red Horizon and shoot your way through numerous waves of different enemies, eventually facing the final boss. Build up strength along your journey by finding items which will not only give you a power up but change the way you play. Just remember to choose wisely!
Note from the Developer
I made the Red Horizon whilst travelling to/from work on the train for a number of months. As of right now, the game is small in length but feature complete. With your support, I would love to evolve the game by adding:

*More items
*More bosses
*More enemies
*More ships
