Check'n When I Was Young
3In this video I take a look at When I Was Young,* a pixel art story based game about the Vietnam war.
This title has some very heavy topics and doesn't seem to pull any punches. The army doesn't care, the war isn't wanted, and your heading to a place where you can easily die and this is reflected in the game play, at times it gets hard. After failing the final recruitment test for the third time I decided to end the video so unfortunately I didn't get to Vietnam but I do manage to give you a decent look at the title. It's an intriguing title that may frustrating at times but it definitely captivates and entertains. A great story that's worth a look.
