Check'n Cave Quest
2In this video I take a look at Cave Quest,* a match three adventure game.
This is my favourite HH-Games match three game so far, I played two hours of it without realising. It's not just match three levels with a story instead it uses match three for travel, combat, item collection, and earning money to buy items form the general store and of course it still has the story. It's a nice adventure story with dungeons, monsters, and adventure.
There is a simple map system you use to travel and tell you where you haven't been, discovered locations only, and the first time you visit a location you need to win a travel style match three game to make it accessible on the map. As you progress there is more and more obstacles to the match three making it quite challenging towards the end. I had to play one three time to get past it so there is a good challenge.
It's well worth the $5 entry fee and is what match three games should be like, a bit like the old Puzzle Quest ones.

Play a thrilling Match3 Game! Evil spirits and a mysterious gloom on narrow trails are ensnaring infrequent travelers. The same fate befell the family of our heroine. Now the poor people are lost in the depths of caves, and only your courage and ingenuity will be able to save them. Match gems of the same kind to let them disappear and win helpful items and power-ups. Collect money and spend them to buy the tools you need and speleological equipment.
