白石川の一目千本桜は、宮城県柴田郡大河原町にある桜の名所です。約8kmにわたって白石川の堤防に約1,200本の桜並木が続き、春の訪れを鮮やかに彩ります。

圧倒的なスケール
約8kmにわたって続く桜並木は、圧巻の一言です。遠くから見ると、まるで桜のトンネルのようです。
その絶景のなかを列車が駆け抜けるようすは、ここでしか見ることのできない景色を作り出します。
この景観は、JRの大河原駅と船岡駅の間で見ることができます。
桜と蔵王連峰のコラボレーション
桜の背景には、雪を被った蔵王連峰がそびえ立ちます。桜の淡いピンクと蔵王の白のコントラストが美しく、絶景を楽しめます。
夜桜のライトアップ
夜になると、桜並木がライトアップされます。昼間とはまた違った幻想的な雰囲気を味わえます。
