"Who the hell were you talking to?"
"--Let's not fight."

--------
Plot: Billy and Cheryl's first actual encounter was in near summer, at a feverish swimming pool party held by one of the popular kids in their school. Unbeknownst to both, they are aware of each other's reputations and stories, but never got a chance to talk face to face. It was at the second party that Cheryl has deliberately gone out of her way to get Billy's attention, which they ended up chatting, throwing teases and playful countenances, exchanges numbers and names-- and eventually the two became friends. Billy would take her out on "dates" (as friends, they claimed) and Cheryl would constantly visit his house. However, when seeing Cheryl's little flirtation with her classmate, Billy suddenly grew protective. Oftentimes if not, jealous. Eventually he comes to term that he had definitely fallen for his friend, and tries to hide his feeling by acting distanced. The redhead notices this change of demeanor however and pays a visit at his house, worried that she might've done something wrong to ruin their relationship. As Billy is found nowhere in his room, Cheryl sees a flanette box that is (*supposedly) for her and opens it, finding a ring inside. Right when the young man comes in, shocked-- Cheryl softens immidiately and apologizes to him, knowing that she's the cause of his despondency lately. The girl then goes on admitting that she also likes him for a very long time, but is afraid to confess this. They eventually end the friendzoning and start going out on actual date instead. Just like the old times-- except with a new labeling.

.....
Whew! That's one loooong description right there. Currently on an inspirational trip as a writer since I was working on my script the earlier hours, before tweaking and finishing this little edit here. My grammar sucks though, you can partly-blame it on the Vietnamese blood-- but I'll try to improve it I guess.

Also I'm tryying really hard not to spoil myself with Stranger Things edits 'cause I've been busy lately and had only watched the first 2 episodes of season 3. The temptations my godd @.@

Apps: Sony Vegas Pro 15
Song: Smoke - Tender
Coloring: my own
Fandom: Stranger Things, Riverdale

Ps: I actually changed “fear of death” to “feeling different” since it’ll fit the context of the edit more. Dont mind this too much :))

Oh and also this ship is just for fun. Lots of people debates over Cheryl’s sexuality-- but at the end I figured that we can still ship fictional characters with whoever the hell we like. If we can ship straight characters with another person of the same sexes, then why can’t we do the same for gay characters? This is something I’ve been wondering about a lot lately after watching a few crossover edits and looking through the comments. Needless to say it gives me serious food for thought. What do you guys think?
