The number of students according to their choice are shown through different bars
in the given figure. For each student a box of equal length is taken and the width of
all the bars is equal.
This kind of representation of information is called bar-diagram.
Make a group of your 3 to 4 friends and throw a dice by turns. Whatever
number comes, make a tally mark ‘ ’ in front of that box. When each student has
thrown the dice 4 to 5 times, count the number of signs in each row. For example,
let us say that the number 3 came 4 times on the dice then
