It's a brand new day! Wait, does Chibi-Robo ever actually rest, or is this just an arbitrary need to return to the Chibi-House in order to break up gameplay into more discrete chunks for the purposes of keeping players more carefully managed?

Well, let's see what's changed in the daylight! ...hopefully fewer crazy toy antics, because it definitely cuts into the cleanup action around here. Plus, the family's awake and primed for happiness-spreading! ...maybe. Mr. Sanderson is a bit of a tough nut to crack what with big marital and money management issues he'll need to sort out, but at least Jenny's easy to please. I contemplated trying to strike up a conversation with her bear, but she picked it back up again and it wouldn't be able to talk with all these pesky HUMANS around anyhow... Speaking of which, looks like that toothbrush really WAS Mr. Sanderson's because he seems to be the proud owner of our local Drake Redcrest action figure. (Totally age-appropriate, though!)

Unfortunately, it seems that there aren't any people around to protect us from those Free Rangers, so we can't exactly make any headway in the Foyer just because the time of day has changed... but at least we now know the location of the little item that will mitigate that crisis without getting Chibi-Robo pelted with ...whatever those colorful blobs are they're shooting from their toy guns.

However! Let's forget about that and stretch our legs in a direction that doesn't get us any closer to solving that, for the day is just getting started and we have more stuff we can do and therefore more of the unknown to explore! ...to heck with consequences, let's break the window and make a mad dash into glorious outdoor freedom! (Chibi-Robo's an all-terrain miniature robot, right?)

Actually, the back yard's pretty much another room by some other squared-off boundaries, so it's not like we can get into TOO much trouble... but that also just means that it's a new area with its own new (and decidedly weirder and that much less obviously-tackled) problems to solve. Let's see... a frog in distress (but presumably no actual time limit or danger), a truly bizarre carving on the ground, something called "The Scurvy Splinter" rather mysteriously obscured by quite the preponderance of earth, lots of climbing to do, THREE Chibi-Doors in all, and some rather foreboding new environs that we''ll probably need to dedicate quite a bit of battery life to exploring if we're going to take a proper crack at it. (Assuming we even CAN go any further just yet...)

After another near-(battery-)death experience, I think we should probably check out the kitchen again while Sophie's not hogging "Drake" all to herself for a change.

Seems Mrs. Anderson and Tao are here, and Sophie's quite a bit more indisposed than we've seen her yet, so I think we can get quite a bit more exploration done today! Well, if Tao doesn't mind. Which he does... but he minds Mrs. Anderson even more, so I guess we're all clear on that as well...

Except for a sudden cut and fade to black! Oh no! Chibi-Robo's doomed for some reason!
