CHILDISH for Playing with Steam Deck!

Yeah, right. Childish. I don't know what constitutes as a mature hobby for that guy.

Okay. I'm 27. I barely have time to play video games on my incredibly busy work schedule. I'm not a hardcore gamer, either. Nothing wrong with this so far.
"I was on my Steam Deck playing RDR2 during my work break and a colleague just came up to me and said, 'aren't you a little too old to be still loving video games?'"
Yeah, no. Your colleague is wrong. Gaming is a hobby for all ages, and Red Dead Redemption 2 is not exactly a game that I recommend for kids.
"I don't know why. It just made me feel a little crap now I find myself subconsciously hiding while gaming around others."
Yeah, this is where you lost me. Be confident about your hobbies. Double down on that. You're letting your coworkers' opinions affect you. You're the one who controls yourself. You're the one that knows how to relax and make yourself happy. Don't let other people influence you and what you like. Keep doing what you like.
