Jim Halberd returns in today's video. I take my old classic Mordhau Halberd build out for a match at Camp. During the round I came across a maul man who would just ditch the maul at the first sign of conflict by heaving it at me. I thought it was hilarious and took a bit of a liking to him for not being a cheese lord with the weapon.
I don't use the Halberd in Mordhau too often, and I don't really have a good reason why. It's a solid weapon that does well at just about everything but close quarter combat in narrow hallways (you'll probably wack the walls or ceiling a lot).
Remember, the Halberd alt grip extends the reach and boost the damage output a bit, but it also makes the weapon slower and unable to combo...so if you're using the alt grip, you're going to want to make sure your hits count.
