♫Chopin - Prelude in E Minor Op.28 No.4♫
Believe it or not, the first time I heard this was in the middle of a TED talk by conductor Benjamin Zander about classical music (https://youtu.be/r9LCwI5iErE). It was many years ago, and that was kind of a small turning point for me, because it was then that I realised how much a world of a difference one could make with his own music, if only he knew how to keep the accompaniment as quiet as possible. Like a nice cosy bed for the melody to comfortably sit on.
So here is the famous Chopin Prelude in E Minor. Great for my quiet hands practice. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but I had thought that since this would be such a fast learn, I could do it any time; no stress there really. But hey, that time has to come eventually, right?
For now, enjoy what might be my quietest video ever! Or at least until about 1:25! Turn up the volume if you have to. And let me know what you think of the climax. :)
