Choplifter - Sega Master System - No Commentary
Choplifter takes flight as one of the Sega Master System’s most iconic early action titles—blending fast-paced shooting with heart-pounding rescue missions. As the pilot of a lone rescue chopper behind enemy lines, your mission isn’t just to blow things up—it’s to save lives. Brave waves of tanks, jets, and gunfire as you swoop into hostile territory to rescue captured hostages and bring them home safely.
But this isn’t a mindless shooter. You’ll have to balance precision flying with quick reactions as you dodge incoming fire, time your landings, and avoid accidentally crushing the very people you’re trying to save. Every trip is a tense run between destruction and duty, backed by surprisingly fluid animation and crisp 8-bit visuals.
Equal parts heroic and hectic, Choplifter turns every level into a high-stakes rescue op—and proves that sometimes the most powerful weapon is a helicopter full of heart.

Hey there! I’m just a casual gamer on a mission to try out every game I can get my hands on—even the ones that are totally out of my comfort zone. I’ll be starting with 3rd generation consoles, also known as the 8-bit era, and focusing on their US release dates—mainly systems I’m familiar with like the NES and Sega. Hopefully this goes well enough that I can make my way to PlayStation games too. I’m not a pro, not a speedrunner, and definitely not perfect—I just love playing a variety of games.
My goal is to finish each game using just what I know. If I hit a wall and I’m really enjoying it, I might peek at a guide (as little as possible). But if a game’s not clicking with me, I’ll give it three tries or up to an hour—whichever comes first—then move on.
Sometimes you’ll hear commentary, sometimes not. This is mostly a personal game log, but if you’re here and enjoying it, that’s awesome. Like if you like, sub if you want—either way, I hope you have fun watching!
