Snail Maze is the ultimate hidden gem—literally. Tucked away as a secret game inside early Sega Master Systems, this minimalist maze runner stars a cheerful snail on a race against time. No story. No power-ups. Just you, a timer, and a twisting labyrinth to conquer.

Simple in design but surprisingly intense, Snail Maze challenges you to navigate through increasingly complex mazes before the clock runs out. With crisp lines, bright colors, and zero distractions, it’s pure old-school reflex gaming at its core. Think of it as Sega’s built-in answer to “just one more try.”

Whether you found it by accident or fired it up on purpose, Snail Maze stands as a quirky reminder of the Master System’s charm—and the unexpected fun hiding beneath the shell.

Hey there! I’m just a casual gamer on a mission to try out every game I can get my hands on—even the ones that are totally out of my comfort zone. I’ll be starting with 3rd generation consoles, also known as the 8-bit era, focusing on systems I’m familiar with like the NES and Sega. Hopefully this goes well enough that I can make my way to PlayStation games too. I’m not a pro, not a speedrunner, and definitely not perfect—I just love playing a variety of games, mostly based on their US release dates.

My goal is to finish each game using just what I know. If I hit a wall and I’m really enjoying it, I might peek at a guide (as little as possible). But if a game’s not clicking with me, I’ll give it three tries or up to an hour—whichever comes first—then move on.

Sometimes you’ll hear commentary, sometimes not. This is mostly a personal game log, but if you’re here and enjoying it, that’s awesome. Like if you like, sub if you want—either way, I hope you have fun watching!
