I named this track "Tusks" after I finished writing it. The swelling horns and stomping bass drum reminded me of a herd of elephants which can be both frightening and majestic. I didn't write this one with a game in mind necessarily, though I suppose it might fit in a certain kind movie sequence. I utilize a lot of different brass (trumpet, french horn, trombone, bass trombone, cimbasso) and percussion (bass drum, toms, cymbals), as well as quite a few tuned percussion instruments (such as the celeste, marimba, vibraphone, tubular bells and crotales).

Short backstory: I recently purchased some new brass and percussion libraries (Cinebrass and Cineperc from the company Cinesamples) and wanted to see how they sound in a composition. The game soundtracks I'm currently working on don't require much of these instruments so I took a quick break and wrote this piece.
