After some intense training through scout missions and improving their combat against titans, Hange requested Chris and the others to capture some titans for some whacky research of hers, including how titans function by eating humans before Eren gets in to clobber said titan. Also, she is quite fond of her two titans in captivity, Sawney and Beane. Both titans are later slain by an unknown soldier possibly on the count of keeping the scouts in the dark about titans. The question is who would deny the scouts research that would benefit humanity to stand a fighting chance against titans?
