The original Half Life was released In November of 1998. The version that can be obtained from Steam has an updated graphics pack, but not much else has changed.

I've decided that I've waited too long for Half Life 3 to come out, or at least Half Life 2 Episode 3. So I'm staging an Anti-Protest. I don't want to protest anything because I'm not against Valve, I'm right there with them. I just want them to make the game. So I'm going to be playing all the Half Life games I can get my hands on, in as close of an order as I can.

Half Life is owned by Valve Software. I have no affiliation nor have even ever talked to anyone at Valve. By the end of this series, that probably will not have changed.
