This might be, in some ways, the hardest fight in the game so far. He doesn't have much health and he isn't very fast, bu the latter point is all to the good. Miguel and Garai were pains largely because of their speed. Also the mod creator has a horrible habit of making bosses too fast. See his Xenogears HardType where this is a problem with several bosses. He thought "huh, maybe Seibzehn, the bulky pro wrestler robot, should be really fast and ALSO hit you unmercifully hard." Or where I had no choice butt to give Citan two Speed Ring S's to attempt to keep up with Grahf.

But Chrono Cross is a much better game than Xenogears in terms of battle system so he had better foundations to work with here.

I had to prepare for this fight more than basically any other in the game. I went and bought a handful more RecoveryAlls, CurePluses, Meteor Showers... Speaking of which, please forgive me using a Meteorite instead of the Meteor Shower that was right there.. I was so relieved to have gotten to this point that I just was mashing shit to win.

Because that's the thing, his flurry of attacks is a gauntlet to get through. I failed to get through it many times. I feel like this fight perfectly demonstrates the greatness of this battle system. I didn't need Diminish, I just needed to understand the fundamentals of combat and prepare. I bought two StrongMinded because ForeverZero was too much for poor Marcy. That and the other Elements I bought and arranged is why I won. And well a lot of luck, I won't claim to be some pro, not after dying a zillion times.

I was really stuck on the fight for hours not just because it's hard, but because I wanted that Rainbow Shell. So I 'd start recording, get a Tiara, stop recording, start again, get a Rainbow Shell every 7 or some shit attempts, and then die in the rest of the fight. lol

I really do love his fight. I remembered nothing about this except his Vigora at the end becuase usually I just neutered his Elemental attacks. But now this fight rules.

I needed to make it as easy as possible to steal right at the start so that's why Fargo has the Scarf. It still took forever.
