Chrono Cross: TRDE - 38 - The Second Branching Path
3*Read description / SPOILERS OF FUTURE EVENTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED*
Another Title: To be a Jackass or a Hero...
The group is taken to Another Guldove, where Kid starts to feel...funny, for a lack of a better word.
Key Notes:
- WARNING: If you don't unequip Kid's stuff, she'll keep them till she DIES(?).
- WARNING: This is the second branching path where your decision will affect who will end up joining you besides some alterations, based on what you answer to Korcha:
Don't Save Kid (Jackass Option) (Path A):
- Letting Kid DIE(?) is a path where you won't fight as many boss fights, skip a forced dungeon, and go on your merry way to the next crucial point in the story.
- Most people actually pick this path because there happens to be one character everyone wants to have who''s comparable to Serge in terms of usefulness, which the other path doesn't have.
- If you wish to know what characters join you..................................it's freakin' Glenn, Korcha's mother, and Doc (for a distant last).
- There is an optional boss fight that can yield you a unique stealable accessory that can't be gotten anywhere else in the game, but you won't have a thief for when this happens if you take this path. But who cares?! Glenn is in!
Save Kid (HERO!) (Path B):
- Trying to save Kid forces you to do a dungeon, several boss fights, and the promise to save Kid from DYING(?).
- Even if you feel like the biggest Samaritan in the world, this path has some decent characters that don't hold a fight against Glenn himself (unless you care about the second one having the special honor of having a combined super attack that's very nuts to get without a guide).
- The characters in this path are Korcha, Razzly, and Mel (who happens to have thieving skills like Kid).
- By the time you do the optional boss fight, you can have two thieves at the ready. But will your conscience feel guilty for turning down Glenn?
