Chrono Trigger originally released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System(SNES) on August 11, 1995 here in the States; I however am playing the Steam port which released February 27, 2018.
Chrono Trigger isn't long by JRPG standards but that just means it won't take 40+ hours to beat clocking in at about 12 hours if you know what you are doing and don't grind too much or try and do everything.
