(5of5) The Rainbow Shell pt 2; Going to 1000 AD to find the King of Guardia on trial!?!

The Rainbow Shell has been taken to the Kingdom of Guardia, and with the consent of the King and Queen it will be safely stored within the sublevels of the castle waiting for them in the time of 1000AD. So when Chrono, Lucca, and Marle make it to their time and get to the castle, everything should be easy peasy, right?

No, they are stopped at every doorway. Being told that Marle's father, the King of Guardia is on trial for stealing the very same Rainbow Shell that they had relocated to the castle in the first place. Unfortunately for our young princess, her shouting and demanding doesn't open any doors. So our heroes have to come up with a way to prove the King's innocense before the trial is over...

But the story has just begun to unfold...

As the three begin to hunt through the castle, a memory of their past begins to haunt them as they see monsters talking about the Chancellor getting his revenge. Could they be talking about the conflict from hundreds of years ago, that mystics have raided the castle and impersonated royal bodies to implement their vile plan???
