It's episode 3.7 of Chrono Trigger (クロノトリガー), Crono is gone and our heroes don't know what steps to take next...
After the events of the Ocean Palace, our heroes wake up to find themselves in a small village with the Earthbound and those from Zeal that survived. Everyone talking about different things that's happened since the collapse of the floating continent, some talking about people that have gone missing, others worried about how life will change without magic to be their guide...
Before leaving the time period, someone tells us that another relatively unknown had been seen walking around after the catastrophe. So when our heroes finally find the prophet hanging around the cliffside, it is up to them to decide if it is worth it to defeat him once and for all, or have him join the team in their fight against Lavos...
Eventually they make it to the End of Time where our mysterious friend finally reveals his identity to us and helps us begin our path to rescuing Crono from his fate at the hands of Queen Zeal and Lavos..
But before our heroes can save him, things must be collected and everything must be in the right place before they can make their ascendance to the top of Death Peak.......
