CiB Let's Try - Spider: The Video Game (PS1)
3Spider was released in February 1997 as a PS1 exclusive. It was developed by Boss Game Studios, who only ever developed 7 games, including the infamous Stunt Racer 64 (probably the 2nd rarest and most expensive game on the N64). Spider: The Video Game was published by BMG Interactive, which became Rockstar Games, a company you may have heard of.
Wow! Our first Let's Try game in two months, and it's actually a really solid game.
What I expected: a really choppy, slow, 3D action game filled with late 90's over-the-top action.
What I got: a 2.5D platformer game that runs really well, handles really solidly, and is pretty darn fun. I don't say this often for Let's Try games, but this is a game I would actually play through to the finish, even if it probably will end up being pretty difficult by the end.
Definitely recommend this one if you're looking for another unique 2.5-D kind of platformer. Thanks for watching!
