Hello and welcome to Cinema Season 15!

• Cinema is a /r/ultrahardcore Recorded Round in which each season aims to replicate a popular piece of film

• This season was based on Back to the Future Part II (1989), our second time doing a sequel to a film we've done before. The plot of BttF2 follows Marty and Doc Brown in the sequel to the 1985 blockbuster (adapted in Season 4) as the time-travelling duo head to 2015 to nip some McFly family woes in the bud. But things go awry thanks to bully Biff Tannen and a pesky sports almanac. In a last-ditch attempt to set things straight, Marty finds himself bound for 1955 and face-to-face with his teenage parents – again.

• Explanation of the gamemodes:

- Time Travel | Players will spawn in a 1.2.5 world (S4 reference), however, ore rates are 80% removed. Players will spawn with a clock allowing them to time travel to worlds features in previous cinema seasons. Each has different terrain, gamemodes and ore rates.

World 1 - Maze Runner: Players spawn within a 50x50 space in the middle of the maze, covered in chests the maze is much more complex than S10 and cave spiders will spawn at night. The centre features a chest which replenishes at the start of every episode. The ore rates are 30% removed

World 2 - A Quiet Place: A vanilla world where the Quiet Place gamemode from S12 will be enabled, with the chance of making noise increased. But to compensate for this the ore rates are 25% removed. (View reddit post to see what sound attracts the creatures).

World 3 - The Purge: Just like in S6 the world will have 3 towns, each located at coordinates which are broadcast once it fills with loot (1 in E3, another in E4 etc).

World 4 - Jumanji: World is covered in a dense jungle, but 0,0 is cleared out with a massive temple in the middle, which features a chest which will give replenished loot, better than any previous, starting from Episode 4.

- Jumanji Gamemode | The Jumanji gamemode from S5 will be enabled throughout the game. Every 5 minutes a random player will be selected to roll a dice. The player can either wait 5 minutes (and be poisoned as punishment) or roll the dice which can do 1-12 things which will effect the player, the players team or the game as a whole. - Timeline Disruption | At the start of Episode 2 players have the option to disrupt someone's timeline (5 minute CD) which will allow them to make another team's game a bit harder depending on what world they are in, at the cost of 1 diamond. This effect will last for 20 minutes before returning to normal. During the time someone is affected they cannot be disrupted by another team. Effects are listed below

Maze Runner: Blood Diamonds will be activated for the selected team
A Quiet Place: Chances the creature can hear you will double
The Purge: Paranoia activates for the selected team
Jumanji: The player will be forced to roll
