Cisco Heat: All American Police Car Race, a 1990 racing video game developed and published in arcades by Jaleco, puts players in control of a police squad car competing against computer-controlled vehicles. The primary objective is to secure first place in each race, offering players the option to take diverse routes to bypass specific sections of the course. The game is available in three cabinet types: a standard upright version, a sit-down variant, and a motion-based "deluxe" machine. The latter two can be linked together to facilitate multiplayer gaming.

The brainchild of several former Sega employees who departed to establish BitBox, the team behind Cisco Heat had previously worked on Jaleco Rally: Big Run. Following the absorption of BitBox by Jaleco, the team embarked on the development of a spiritual successor to Big Run, resulting in Cisco Heat. The game made its way to various platforms, including the Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amiga, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and MS-DOS. Image Works handled the European publication of all these home computer ports. While the arcade version of Cisco Heat received praise for its engaging gameplay, impressive presentation, and responsive controls—with some reviewers considering it a significant improvement over Jaleco's previous arcade offerings—the home computer ports faced a less favorable reception due to their subpar quality.
