Citadel has reduced the headcount in its Surveyor (stock picking) department by 1/3 due to poor performance, this is HUGE, does this mean we've won?
There could also be a fake squeeze coming for AMC, entering it into the third cycle, the hedgies like citadel are going to try and keep as much control over AMC during the next run up to $200-$300 as possible, but will they keep control? or lose control?
It depends on how much liquidity they've generated over the last few months and if they can afford to continue averaging up their short positions.
