Day 34
We picked up some equipment at Gaia (this town in the mountains). I feel so much more ready to face the citadel now!
The citadel itself wasn't too bad. We did run into a few enemies, but we were able to get them. Although...we did see Tatanga...but he wasn't the same. Peach caught onto that rather quickly and was ready to use her turn undead spell. I instantly used fire! I'M NOT LETTING THAT MONSTER GET INTO MY KINGDOM AGAIN!
Luigi got hit pretty hard though. He's ok now though. He got right back up and finished off Tatanga. I'm so proud of him. The citadel contained a rat's tail and a quick way back out.
The dragon king, Bahamut, wanted to see us after we came back to the dragon caves. I showed Bahamut the rat's tail and he said that since we brought back proof of courage, he'd help us unlock our true potentials. The dragon touched all of our foreheads.
I remember seeing a very bright light and felt power coursing through me. When the light died down, I felt...powerful. The others felt the same way. We plan to head back to previous towns, learn more spells, and get more weapons.
Luigi is very excited to learn how to cast spells!
