Mario's Journal:
Day 28 (Part 7)

The Koopalings were more difficult than we thought. While we were able to stop Roy and Wendy quickly, we weren't able to stop Ludwig and Larry from using their battle cards in time. I don't even remember how we managed to beat them since Ludwig hit me in the head pretty hard.
All I remember after that is Luigi waking me up while Paper Mario was taking out Ludwig. Larry was already down. That just left the other three who threw everything they had at us. I'm still shocked that we managed to survive.
It didn't take us long after that to finish them off, but we were so tired. That...that was the Bowsers' plan...to tire us out before we fought them. I wanted to keep going and take them on but Starlow insisted that we at least rest for a few minutes. Paper Mario nearly snuck away to go fight them, but he learned the hard way that Starlow has the eyes of a hawk. She chewed him out and told him to rest.
Luigi insisted that we rest as well. I don't like it, but Starlow and Luigi are right. If we don't take a break, we're finished. Just...a little break should be enough. Since we wiped out all of Bowser's minions, they have nothing to throw at us.
We can't rest for too long though. If the Bowsers escape and regroup, it could mean the end. I can't let that happen.
