This is a Timelapse building of Bedrock which took about 500 hours in real time and 101 episodes of a Let's play called Road to 1 million population on the Hard mode. Made with no cheats, all game mechanics working and no shortcuts.

This Let's play was started back in 2015. paused until 2019. and finished in 2020. Mods used: Show limits, 25 spaces unlock, Automatic bulldoze 2, Traffic Manager President edition STABLE, Citizen Life Cycle Rebalance v2.6 (now Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited 1.4.2), Zoning toolset (toggle + upgrade tool), Fill The Houses, Loading Screen Mod, No Seagulls, Employ Overeducated Workers V2 and Hard mode. Game version 1.12.3.

In this last episode of this monumental 101 episode long Let's play, I show how the city was expanded from 950,000 population, when the Citizen units was a big problem and a block to growth, over 960k with a solution I came up with, and all the way to 999,800 population when I start the countdown. The final moment when the city finally reaches 1,000,013 population gives me the chills every time I think about it. Yabadabadoo!!!

Citizens within your city react fluidly, with gravitas and with an air of authenticity to a multitude of game play scenarios.

Colossal Order's extensive experience developing the Cities in Motion series is fully utilized in a fully fleshed out and well-crafted local traffic simulation.

Districts and Policies
Be more than just an administrator from city hall. Designating parts of your city as a district results in the application of policies which results in you rising to the status of Mayor for your own city.

Utilize the Day and Night Cycle
The city changes during the hours of the day and affects citizen schedules. Traffic is visibly slower at night and some zoned areas do not work with full efficiency. This expansion will put you in control of managing the different aspects of the day and night cycles.

Extensive modding support
Build or improve on existing maps and structures. You can then import them into the game, share them as well as download the creations of other city builders on the Steam workshop.
