Cities Skylines: How To Build a Pedestrian Area Ep 07 Let's play gameplay
22Episode 7 of our cities skylines let's play features a pedestrian area which is going through our downtown commercial office city center thing. Sure we first have to take care about the essentials like a new updrift tower for more power and a new unique factory for our oil industry area but the main focus, besides expanding the public transport system over the river to our industry area, is the predestrian area, which is starting at the waterfront, which i turn into our first leisure district, passing the new casino, then having overpasses over the avenue and so on. Always making sure the pedestrian area has crossings where needed and it also gets pretty beautyfied so the walkways are shaded by trees and such. i opted to run a monorail straight over the middle of the pedestrian area for i really liked the idea of it also being a main system of transport. All that spiced up with a few more unique buildings. Also we are expanding the city with a new tile and start a new residential zone there. Some tips on my used mods on how to do a pedestrian overpass are there while i am trying to replicate the look of a part of my hometown. The mods and assets i use for the pedestrian zone are of course in my steam collection see below.
