In the 3rd episode of my Space Haven let's play i'd like to show you how to optimize logistics. The working hours of our crew are an essential ressource of the game that is limited and we rather see them performing productive tasks then carrying crates around. To keep your crew productive you need to help them through clever ship design. We have very little influence over the amount of logistic tasks the game generates for every facility we place is probably going to generate some. But we could design our ship in a way that keeps the time spent on each of those tasks, very short, through keeping distances to and from storage units small. Now storage units have a limited capacity, to handle the load of an production circle area, we need to figure out what ressources are in constant flow and what ressources we rather store elsewhere for bigger accumulation of stored goods. So in this tutorial i am taking botany as an example on how to set up a production circle.
Embark on a space voyage with your ragtag crew of civilians in search of a new home. Build spaceships tile by tile, create optimal gas conditions, manage the needs and moods of their crew, encounter other space-faring groups, and explore the universe in this spaceship colony sim.
