Memory. It can be both a biological thing, and a computer thing, and you have both. Or you did, until you lost your "biological" version. You're a Sleeper, a copy of a person who sold their memory to a Essen Arp, who know own a version of you that needs to work off the original's debt. Or Essen Arp used to.

You have broken free and are trying to make your own life, but there were complications in the escape and you lost your memory. Now you're free from Essen Arp, but you're struggling to survive, in an unfamiliar space station, with a space ship that's falling apart, and you can't remember who's your friend and who's your enemy.
On the plus side you body is no longer breaking down. You don't need to take the drug Stabilizer anymore, but you are still suffering from stress and hunger, so you need to find a way of quelling those needs.

Can you make a new life for yourself? Can you find a crew to help you with those jobs you need to take? Can you escape your past? And most of all, can you ever be truely free?
