Many take for granted issues like air quality, but not Lisa Farinas. She is as an Environmental Quality Specialist for the Aviation department and is responsible for environmental compliance issues like air quality, storm water and water quality. She also trains & educates tenants at the airport about hazardous waste and other environmental issues. Just recently Lisa’s prompt response and coordination helped avert the release of approximately 20,000 gallons of oil and fire debris to the Salt River and the Rio Salado Habitat.
