This is a FIRST PLAYTHROUGH so I would appreciate no spoilers in the comments.
I don't play JRPGs or souls-like and this game has elements of both types of video games, so I'm not very good at it. I'm mostly here for the story and will not hesitate to play on Story Mode if I need to.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a good toss of different types of games who, at first glance, don't share a lot. But it works and the environments are beautiful, and the story is sad and hopeful, and the time period is a perfect pick, and the voice actors are amazing, and the SOUNDTRACK... I'm seriously obsessed and will probably be for the rest of the year.
