Claymation Does NOT Take Forever! - 5 Myths Debunked by Animator
0An opposite opinion perspective by a stopmotion animator with over a year or two of experience doing Claymation videos as to these five debunked myths in the medium, including how to tell if your Claymation takes too long to produce.
The 5 myths included in the video:
-Modeling clay is mandatory and is the only material that counts
-Claymation is an overwhelming, tedious process that takes too much time
-Claymation doesn't count as animation when it comes to that medium
-Claymation is dying or is already dead in the world in terms of popularity
-Claymation can't be used to adapt into other animation mediums afterwards
I had to release two extra video export versions of this video to correct editing and to make it better overall. This isn't quite a Christmas special for the end of 2020, as maybe missing out on Halloween and Christmas holidays isn't the worst opportunity streak to weep about, but I am at least consistent ever the more with uploads so there's that at least!

Up until now, as of release for this video I dare say that list happens to include a Claymation clip tribute for Pixar's "Soul" which by intention features at least a copper wire and/or chenille stem prop made to represent the 2D secretary character from The Great Beyond/Before/New York scenes of the movie, maybe even throwing in a 2D "Jerry" by then lol. But just stayed tuned and keep your eyes peeled for just about anything else I have in store for Claymation behind the scenes, tutorials, discussions, clay prop reveals, short films and other related content.
P.S. Collabs and/or commission requests are open! They don't even have to only be about Claymation either, but just be thoughtful with your intentions! Or else the secretary will find you and account you into the great beyond lol.
