In the new version, which is stated that no packages have been added or removed, some changes have been made to the cnf package. Updated packages such as cnf 1-914, gvim 9.0.1139, iptables 1.8.8, libnftnl 1.2.4, nftables 1.0.6 and vim 9.0.1136 come with the system. While it is stated that the operating system is upgraded as a whole instead of using individual packages, it is said that extra software (with associated dependencies) can be added to the system using precompiled packages that can be accessed through the USA-based distribution's swupd software manager. Clear Linux uses autospec, a tool used to assist in the automatic creation and maintenance of RPM packaging. To start a standard RPM build using rpmbuild, a tarball and . spec file requires only a tarball and package name for autospec to start.
Thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time!
