13This can be done with only ice beam and morph ball. Both strats require the pipe bug to be in the correct spot, which has a few pixels of leeway (3-4, I think). The setup I use for this is to jump up against the ceiling next to the missile and then have the pipe bug run into my ice beam shot (a window of a few frames, but much better than a 1 or 2 frame window otherwise).The first strat shows off getting the missile without needing to freeze the nova, which is essentially rng, but requires a frame perfect unspin to push samus through the pipe bug and then another tight respin to land on top of it. Jumping once on top of the pipe bug will clip samus into the missile so long as you don't press left or right while on top. The second strat shows off using the nova for a small boost, which is enough to skip needing to do the frame perfect unspin through the pipe bug and the tight respin at the top. However, you do need to be sure that the nova and the pipe bug are in sync enough to be frozen at the same time, as the pipe bug can only be frozen once before dying. Once you are on top of the nova you can just do a full jump to reach the missile.
Correction: you do not need to do the frame perfect unspin to get above the pipe bug. As long as you are aligned with the left side of the bug, you can just jump straight up and respin at the peak of your jump to land on top
