Clock Tower: Rewind is a survival horror point-and-click adventure game that puts players in the role of Jennifer Simpson, a teenage orphan who, along with her friends, is adopted and taken to the ominous Barrows Mansion. Upon arrival, the director of the orphanage mysteriously disappears, and soon after, Jennifer witnesses a terrifying figure known as Scissorman brutally murder her friends. The gameplay revolves around Jennifer's desperate attempts to survive and escape the mansion while being relentlessly pursued by the scissor-wielding maniac. Lacking any direct combat abilities, Jennifer must rely on her wits to explore the environment, find hiding places, utilize quick thinking in "panic" situations, and occasionally set traps to evade Scissorman. Clock Tower: Rewind offers both the original 1995 Super Famicom version and a "Rewind" mode with added content and quality-of-life improvements, multiple endings, and randomized elements to enhance replayability.
