453ATMs or "Advanced Tactical Missiles" can be devastating weapons in the right hands. They deal more damage the closer you get up to a minimum firing distance of 120 meters. That means that you should bring a certain amount of mobility to stay in the sector where your missiles deal 3 damage if you intend to use ATMs as your main weapon.
The Huntsman is an excellent carrier for the Advanced Tactical Missiles. It has very high mounted missile hardpoints, good speed and jump jets. You want to thrust yourself into the air, get a fast lock using your TAG and then unleash a barrage of 3-damage missiles to the enemy only to fall back to a safe spot with cover.
