New Tech on the Blackjack Hero "Arrow" #Feelsgoodman - Mechwarrior Online The Daily Dose #296
570With the introduction of Light Machine Guns from the Civil War Tech Update the Blackjack Hero "Arrow" is one of the Mechs that benefited the most.
The Arrow's main purpose always was to boat MGs and finish enemies fast by shredding through their open components with critical damage. However, being a Blackjack leaves the Arrow to a very low speed combined with poor survivability. Getting close to secure the kills was always risky.
Light Machine Guns and the Light Fusion Engine fix that. The LMGs provide the range we need to stay safe and the Light Fusion Engine brings enough survivability to the table to sustain the fights even if we lose a side torso. The build is even more optimized since the Inner Sphere now has access to ER Medium Lasers which align perfectly with the range of the Large Pulse Laser.
