Closed Beta testing of Monstrum 2.
Well, viewers, I got the opportunity to take part not only of the beta of this game, but the alpha as well. Now I don't have any full game footage from the alpha, since those were closed, but the beta version has been streamed and shared on YouTube and other platforms, so here is a video of three of the games I played. Now like the first, it is human trying to survive monsters on a structure at sea. However, in this one, it is multiplayer, on a sea fortress structure, and one player plays as the monster. So it is a whole new experience from the first one.
In the first game, I was with another player called mavericktaterhater. I played Prisoner, and mavericktaterhater played the Brute. The escape route was the Helicopter, and I managed to get to the Generator phase of the escape. Escapes can be divided into phases. Phase one would be powering up the power plant by fixing breakers. Phase two would be the generator, which means activating a set number of generators. Phase three would be prepping the escape vehicle and escaping.
In the second and third games, I played with Kryyss and [MDE]mEssE.
In the second game, [MDE]mEssE and I played as Prisoner, and Kryyss played as the Brute. The escape route was the Helicopter. I activated three of the switches in the first phase, and that's as far as we got. I also went flying at the end and Kryyss hit me so hard I flew off the stairs I was running down and into the water. I think we were all laughing at that.
In the third game, [MDE]mEssE and Kryyss played as Prisoner, and I played as the Brute. The escape route was the Submersible. I managed to whomp [MDE]mEssE early on, then got him again towards the end when he was cowering in a corner. They managed to activate five switches in the first phase, but that's as far as they got.
Now, I recommend you keep an eye on Junkfish games, or on Steam for when it comes out. This is a fun game, and it will be fun to see what other monsters they add, and what else they do with the game. You can see things up on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1093170/Monstrum_2/
and even pre-order it here: https://pre-order.monstrumgame.com/
