CM Punk news - CM Punk aka Phil Brooks is reportedly being sued by Colt Cabana for failure to provide the promised financial support during the recent defamation trial against WWE & fraud.
This story was first reported in the Chicago Sun-Times but is now being circulated around the online wrestling news community.
This started when CM Punk appeared on Colt Cabana's Art Of Wrestling podcast and made several remarks regarding his treatment in WWE. The company took exception to this especially regarding the medical treatment issues he alleged.
WWE took both CM Punk and Colt Cabana to court for defamation and it was at this time CM Punk allegedly agreed to pay Col Cabana's legal costs which have been revealed to be over $500,000. Reportedly CM Punk paid half and refused to contribute the rest, it is the remaining balance and an additional $1M that Colt is reportedly suing CM Punk for.
