CN Oakville Subdivision review (remade) ~ Train Sim World 4
CN Oakville Subdivision might just be one of the worst routes in Train Sim World, due to the bad scenery, lazy reused sounds on the locomotives and a completely lifeless environment. And it's a real shame that this route is so awful, given its unique status as the only Canadian route in TSW.
The pack is just over four years old, having been released in February 2020. You only get a 24 mile-long route from Oakville to Hamilton (on the outskirts of Toronto), as well as the EMD GP9RM and GP38-2 diesel locomotives in Canadian National colours. The route only has freight services, as Dovetail didn't include the GO Transit MP40PH-3C and Bi-Level coaches due to not having a GO license, but that begs the question as to why they still brought this particular route to the game in the first place.
