Cobra bitten by 8-year-old boy dies in India
An 8-year-old boy, playing in the garden of his house in Chhatisgarh, India, killed him in response to the cobra that bit him.
According to the latest research; In India, where 85 percent of fatal snake bites were recorded, this time the bitten cobra died.
An 8-year-old boy named Deepak was attacked by an adult cobra while playing in his backyard in Chhatisgarh.
Cobra bit Deepak's arm after wrapping it.
The child in pain, unable to get rid of the snake, decided to counterattack and bit the cobra.
As the cobra died, luckily the child he bited did not pass the venom and Deepak survived.
In an interview with the New Indian Express, the boy said, "Even though I swung the cobra to get rid of it, I couldn't get rid of it, so I bit it hard twice. Everything happened in an instant."
Deepak's parents took their children to a local health center after the incident.
In the examinations, it was determined that Deepak's wound was a 'dry bite' and that the poison did not enter his body.
No symptoms were observed in the 8-year-old boy.
The 'dry bite' is often used by adult cobras.
Venomous snakes secrete a deadly venom when they want to kill their prey or are in danger, preferring to use a 'dry bite' when they just want to warn their opponents.
